corner mouth sores?

I always get these cuts in the corner of my mouth. I don't know how to get rid of them and how to prevent them. I get them very often! They annoy me honestly. Does anyone in here know anything? It can't be herpes either because I haven't kissed a guy in like 7 months! I also have a retainer in, which makes it worse when I put it in and take it out.

It's probably cold sores. I would get them even before I started kissing boys. Plus herpes aren't curable so if you have them they don't really go away. They can appear gone, but can be activated by literally anything. It's probably the herpes we call cold sores. No big deal. A lot of people get them. A trick I read online is when you feel the tingling feeling coming on drink while milk and saturate a cotton ball in whole milk and place it on the area you feel the sore coming on. My bf gets cold sores a lot but ever since I tried this trick I haven't gotten one. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I used to get these when I was younger. A doctor told me once it's a virus that comes and goes, but I've more narrowed it down to allergies to ingredients in Lip balms, and a combination of very dry lips. Licking your lips will make this worse! Try using something like burts bees with natural ingredients or limited ingredients. Mine started to go away when I used body shop lip balm with vitamin e in it. Also applying pure vitamin e oil before bed and first thing in the morning helped. Try and find something that is natural and keep your lips moisturizer. Dry climates don't help either. Let me know if you need any other ideas. I had to deal with this for a while.....

It could very well be from taking your retainer in and out. But it's also possible that you have oral herpes. Don't worry if you do - around 80% of the population has it! It's incurable, but cold sores are really the only symptoms you'll experience. Try some home remedies to ease the discomfort. They should heal in time.

That might b from having braces too. U tend to produce more saliva that tends to gather in the corners of ur mouth. When u lick it or wipe it dry u could be irritating the skin, then from talking and eating just using ur mouth n stretching it caused the cracks. I see kids get this a lot. Ppl with braces too. Lips are thin skin.. try ruling out allergies n change to unscented lip products and cleaning ur make up maybe to rule out a virus or anything then go talk to ur doctor, it might be a form of herpes but not the herpes virus, like a cold sore or fever blister but not in blister form.. if that makes sense
