I accidentally left nuvaring in for an extra day

I totally forgot to take nuvaring out last night and I was wondering if the smart move is to take it out right now or keep it in until the four weeks is up. I like taking it out at 3 weeks and having a period. My body is so weird about that that it would probably freak out and do weird things like random bleeding if I kept it in so I'm in favor of taking it out right now but I'm also in favor of it remaining effective. The internet has no clear answer for me so I have come to you.
