What should I expect from the mini pill?

I was just put on the mini pill on Friday for heavy/long periods and mid cycle bleeding. I read a little about it, but what should I expect from it?

The only real symptom I've gotten from the minipill Nora-BE is some lower belly cramping and pain in the first couple weeks or so. It doesn't give me bad symptoms like breast pain and inflammation or skin and hair issues like almost every other birth control I've ever tried has. I hope it works out for you.

It depends on the person. I have super heavy and painful periods. It did not change that for me at all :(. Some women it does. It may make your periods lighter and cause spotting throughout the month especially the first 3 months
