Did I Have a Miscarriage 😞 Please help as I'm very worried
I have had a contraceptive implant for nearly a year now and my boyfriend and I have regular sex. About 2 weeks ago I took a pregnancy test that showed up positive, I was worried but after researching a little I discovered that some dugs that I had done around the time can cause a false positive pregnancy test results, so I relaxed.
However, about a week ago, one night I suddenly had an incredibly painful "period" (which is incredibly unusual for me as I am on the implant and haven't had a period in months). I had a very sudden very heavy flow of nearly black blood that was very thick and clumpy, sharp excruciating cramps (very different to the pain I usually get from periods) and I started sweating lots and felt very dizzy and sick.
The bleeding stoped and I've had brown/dark red discharge for the last few days.
Does anyone with a bit of knowledge in this area know if I was pregnant and had a miscarriage?
It would save me an embarrassing trip to the doctors as I'm only 16.
