breast pads... disposable? washable?

Question

So I bought a pack of disposable breast pads for the hospital, since I won't be able to do laundry obviously. But should I get some reusables for after? Do you use them the whole time you breastfeed?

And do you use multiple breast pads a day?

I used both. Disposable at work and when going out because they're thicker and could keep my nipples from making themselves known, hah. The reusable were fairly absorbant and comfortable, so I used them at home.

Never has an issue with disposable but I had to replace them every three hours... I feel like I'd be needing to replace them to much to get washable ones because I can't stand feeling of wet milk on skin

I recommend the milk saver pads. They collect any milk you drip, and there's good airflow, so you don't get thrush. Believe me, you don't ever want to get thrush, having nursing pads keeps the area moist and breeds yeast. I learned that the hard way

I have used them twice in the ten weeks since I had my daughter. I'm going back to work soon so I will probably need them then if at all, but I have the disposable ones and I think 1 pad in each will get me through the day.
