can sex change your mood?

Me and my man haven't seen each other in a couple weeks, let alone had sex and we fought almost every night and I was just in a completely rotten mood. Today we went out to dinner and before we got out of the car he kissed me a lot and grabbed my boobs a little and it instantly raised my mood! Later we had some great sex and I can't even remember why we used to fight at all! Has this happened to anyone else?
