Bacterial vaginosis?

Has anyone gotten bacterial vaginosis? I was at the hospital on Friday and they put me on an antibiotic for it. Has anyone tried natural remedies? The med is giving me weird side effects like the skin on the inside of my thighs hurt and it looks sunburned and diarrhea. This whole BV thing makes me feel like I'm dirty😔 
Has anyone had complications from either the bv or the meds?

Sounds like an allergic reaction I had a similar reaction to meds for the same thing. Had to be switched to something else. And you're not dirty! It happens. Talk to your doctor. Good luck.

Defo speak to your doctor if you are having side affects to the antibiotics, I have had it twice in this pregnancy and never had it before don't stress, just get better.

I had a slight case of it the week before Christmas and ended up having a reaction to the cream they prescribed me... TERRIBLE pain in my vagina like I had just given birth nothing would calm it they had me stop med and just let it work its way out of my system it took a few days but then I was back to normal

I haven't had it while pregnant but I had it a couple times before getting pregnant and what finally kept it away for me was daily probiotics (on top of the antibiotic)

I had BV and was put on Metronidazole with the same symptoms. After I finished my dose of antiobiotics, the rash on my inner thighs went away. If it gets worse, id contact your OB/GYN. Otherwise, it should go away.

Hi, I had this a few days after I gave birth to 2nd baby. It was very uncomfortable as I also had stitches down below. I think It happened because I was cleaning too much, mainly because I didn't want the stitches to get infected. 
Anyway, as I was breastfeeding I was prescribed an antibiotic gel to insert down there. Cleared up fairly quickly after that and haven't had it since.

Just got it at 38 weeks it's really normal hunny and nothing about being dirty.

I did with my first child around 25 weeks but antibiotics cleared it up quickly..I didn't try any other remidies. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes I got it at 34 weeks pregnant and they put me on Metrodazinole and it was AWFUL! I had to go to the ER my clit swell up and I got tons of bumps from an allergic reaction to it !!
