baby shower gift ideas?

I'm a college kid, definetly on a budget right now but my brother and his fiancé are throwing a baby shower and I want to know what I should get. I want it to be something unique. They have a baby registry but I don't know if I'll have time to get something off of that, or if I do it'll definetly be last minute. Any ideas?

You could make a diaper cake. It's a little time consuming, but they're really cute and expectant women are always excited to receive diapers as a baby shower gift. 
I would recommend making it out of diapers the next size up because of majority of diapers that are gifted are the newborn sizes.

I bought a pack of diapers and kind of stacked them into a cake and tied some ribbons onto it and added some small stuffies for my sister's baby shower. I would google baby shower gift ideas and just see what pops up! :)
