What do you recommend as birth control?

I'm seeing my gynecologist in two weeks because my fiancé and I want to have sex soon. What would you use? I'm thinking the pill. I don't want an object shoved inside me.

Well my guy uses condoms he had problems with circulation, so we just use thinner condoms and no complaints yet; I think he really enjoys it. Plus no hormones or other stuff in your body I mean besides latex. Honestly I'm not a fan of some of the condom latex smells but some aren't as smelly of rubber.
