This might come off really ungrateful but I'm just disappointed. I appreciate it but really disappointed. I saved up thousands of dollars to buy baby everything he would need. Didn't want a baby shower (2nd baby) but MIL insisted she threw one and wanted to buy a crib because she and her mom wanted to go halves on one for the baby.  So I bought everything, I researched and honestly put a lot of time and effort into reading reviews from each product and making decisions based on my personal style and standards that I knew the baby would need. I knew this shower was coming eventually so I put a few things I knew he would need, diapers and wipes, and a few little things and the crib I had picked out onto a registry. So I've waited all this time, I've got to go do the shower in a few weeks (at 36 weeks mind you I'm already so grumpy all the time and in serious pain 24/7) and my husband comes home and tells me "they got you your crib but it's not the one you picked out it's $200 cheaper). I can't help but be crushed! I said from the get go I wanted to buy my son his crib because I looked into so many reviews, visited stores, made sure it was very sturdy and was prepared to spend the $350 on a really nice crib and told my MIL that...... now I have to pretend to be excited about the $150 crib that I know absolutely nothing about infront of a bunch of people. 😫 what would you do?
