So this is my first time using my lunette cup and I had trouble getting it in but finally managed to get it where (I think) it's supposed to go. However, a little bit of the stem is still poking out of my vagina and I can't get the cup to go any higher for some reason. (Its not even all the way up to my cervix) Is the stem supposed to stick out or should I trim a little off so its not visible? I'm afraid to trim it because I can't pull the cup out by the base until I use the stem to pull it farther down my vagina first. Also, is it normal for your cramps to get worse with the cup or could it just be from trying to get it in/this being my first time with the cup?

Please help, I'm already starting to second guess using the cup :(
