Should I contact my ex after 10 years not speaking?

I am currently writting a diary summering up all my love stories. 
Writting the diary made me think about my 1st boyfriend I was seeing when I was 15 yo, he was 30 yo at that time. He was my middle school teacher a year before we started seeing each other. We were seeing each  other for a few months until I moved to NYc from France. We kept talking everyday for 2 years and finally ended it a year before I moved back to France. 
I am honestly just curious about why he was seeing me at the time, im now 29 happily just married and just was to have a coffee to catch up on our lives.  I wonder if I should do it or not, i found his number on the yellow pages.

In your question you mentioned "happily married" ... but thinking of him and going as far as maybe eating to talk to him makes me think different ... I would stay alway. I believe in karma and sometimes even talking to and ex can bring up some nasty thing .. best of wishes Hun! ✨
