Do you need to feel like you want to poop before beginning to push during labor like the pressure?

They told me I would feel this when I was ready to push, and I did. I told the nurse "it feels like I really need to go to the bathroom" and the doctor came right in to check me. She instantly said, "yup there's the head!". Not sure what you mean by needing this to push, I think it happens with everyone, that feeling of immense pressure when it's time. I haven't heard of anyone not having this when the time came.

Not sure how to answer this. It's not really a poop feeling as much as an entire lower vaginal/bowel pressure feeling. I guess you could say it's like pooping but with intense pressure.

Hahahah yes it feels like you need to take a massive pooh when your about to push 😂😂😂😂 and sometimes you actually do pooh!!! 😂😂😂 I did with my second hahahah shit happens literally 🤣🤣🤣

I did! I had an epidural and felt the tightening of contractions and the feeling like I had to poop. No pain, just this and the feeling of stretching when she was crowing! Each contraction I totally knew when it was time to push, first the pressure then the feeling like you're pooping then you push! I was lucky, as it was only an hour of this and baby came out.
