Is 18 to young to start a family? Even if your 110% ready??

I believe if you're independent from your parents, you have your own wage, you live out of home, you can provide EASILY to yourself and your SO (combined wages obviously) you're physically and mentally prepared and are aware of the demands and responsibility and are in a happy and HEALTHY relationship with your partner than sure!

I'm 18 and currently 10 wks 2 days pregnant. I'm financially stable. I have my own home. I'm married to a man that is going to be wonderful father.

If people think it's to early, they can suck an egg. It's not their life, it's mine. And I'm very happy about the decisions I've made.

Just be aware that not everything is fairies and rainbows.

i think it just depends on your situation. if you and your partner have your own place, then with your combined income, there should be no reason why you can't support a family, right?

and age doesn't define maturity. eighteen may be a little young, but if you want to start a family, just be wise about it. have some savings, have a steady income. be frugal, and always be willing to compromise. and even though having a family is a lot of work - it's sacrifice - it's also really beautiful. i mean, i'm nineteen and if i got pregnant right now, i would absolutely keep it. yes, i'm young, but i'm smart. i have a job, savings, and a boyfriend with the same. just make sure you can absolutely, 100% take care of yourself before you decide to take care of another person :)
