I sometimes could. On the occasional cycle my CM was so prolific and egg-white that it would literally drip down my leg if I didn't have underwear on. The clear sign is why I ignored app predictions of my fertile window.

I never felt the twinge of the actual moment tho.

Nope. Never been able to tell. Had to take OPKs to know.

Yes you can special if you know your body. We have mucus test. Personaly you can tell if you are ovulating if you know how to look your mucus.
