Bouncer seat vs swing

Is it totally necessary to have both a bouncer seat & a swing? I am a ftm trying to figure out what big items I still need for my daughter. Could somebody please shed some light on the difference of the two. I have a basic idea of both but I know both are capable of doing different things. Which one do you prefer or both?
