"Smelling like a baby"

So I just hit the fertile period with a flashy smiley yesterday (yay!). Before my husband knew about it, he kept saying my skin smells like a newborn baby.. most random comment ever. Does anyone know whether ovulation and hormone changes do that? I also have hormone imbalance issues (not quite sure if it's PCOS yet but an imbalance nevertheless) and the OPK was earlier than usual.
