What to expect? - First doctor's visit

Hi everyone! I am currently 4 weeks 2 days into my first pregnancy and just scheduled my first appointment for exactly one week from today. Can anyone tell me what I can expect at just a little over 5 weeks? Just blood tests or ultrasound? What would I be able to see, if anything?

I am 5wks2d my first appt is next Friday they said no ultrasound but we will schedule the first one when I am there... I was disappointed I wanted to see something even if it was a tiny spec lol

All my first appt was was a pee test. She confirmed the pregnancy then I had to make another appt. At 6 weeks she asked me about my family history. Tomorrow I have 10 week appt for ultrasound & blood work. :) I think most doctors don't do a scan until you are farther along, unless you have a history of pregnancy losses. Good luck & have fun. 😊

I just had my first appointment about a week ago and all they did was take the urine, weight, pricked my finger, and gave me one of those exams when they check for STI and scheduled me for my 4 weeks checkup

Since you're so small they'll collect some urine and possibly do an ultrasound. They usually wait until you're about 8 weeks to give you your first appointment. Congratulations 😁

I am also 4 weeks and 2 days! I just found out this morning! I made my apt too but they wanted it to be on Feb 8. A month away. I wonder why they want it so far away? Congratulations to you!!
