Mamaroo or swing?

Hi ladies! I was wondering if any of you have a mamaroo and if you would recommend it I've read a lot of mixed reviews and some forums even say that the good reviews are only there because the parents received products in exchange for it. I like it because it seems more practical like it would save more space than the regular baby swings.

🤷🏻‍♀️ I have a bouncer that plays music. I think that will do good enough honestly haha. But my husbands grandmother has a mamaroo for us.

It worked like a dream for our littler girl! And it doesn't eat up the space! It plays music, sounds, and can change the speed and type of movement. We also had a swing for back up and she didn't like it. The swaying she enjoyed. Best of all NO batteries!!!

All my mama friends say it's got a ton to do with babys preference. My cousin actually gave us both of hers (the mamaroo and a glider) to cover bases lol. When we were at the store a whIle back looking at the mamaroo, a woman actually came up and said, get it. I have two. Lol. 
I agree about the space saving. I'm really hoping our son loves it and that can be the thing we have out. It's soooooo much smaller!!!

Mamaroo didn't move enough for our baby but then he lived in the swing we replaced it with!

My daughter spent 7 weeks in the NICU and they had their own mamaroo. Before she was born I never would have considered such an expensive item. But damnit, she loved that mamaroo! 😩 I found someone selling it locally and scored it for 50 bucks, which is how I justify it lol.

I have put her in the ingenuity swing we already had several times and let's just say she is not at all amused. It really does just depend on the baby. If you plan to pay full retail price I recommend reaching out to friends and family who may be able to let you try theirs out before you sink the $$ into it.
