why is it that when people post on topics they get no responses and others get hundreds?

Iv seen it so much on this site and I thought the point was to uplift each other.

I think it depends on what the topic is.

1. If I have nothing nice to say, I wouldn't comment.

2. Topic could be out of my knowledge. For example I don't know anything about birth controls, pregnancies etc.

3. If I have seen the same questions multiple times by the same person, which happens a lot. I wouldn't comment.

4. If it's a simple question and someone has already said something, and I have nothing better to add to it, I won't comment.

There are many reasons why people don't comment.

I think its just because the more you post the more visits so the further up the feed you are x
