SVT????

Hello ladies!

Another week, has come and gone and I'm count down the days.

Went to the doctor yesterday and was sent to the hospital for blood work and a heart monitor for possible SVT.

Anyone can give me some insight on this ? Anyone going thru it ?

I googled , but now I know why they told me not to google it. 🙄🙄🙄

Did you ever find out anymore? I have a situation of svt this am. I’m a nurse and it freaked me out. All my blood work Checked out but now I have to see cardiologist ASAP.

Hi love I know I’m pretty late, but I completely understand how you feel. When I was diagnosed at age 12 and I thought it was the end of the world. I’m almost 17 now and I’m on 50 mg of Metoprolol once a day, haven’t had an attack in almost 2 years. It’s not as scary as it seems! The only thing it limits is some foods like excess chocolate and coffee (anything with caffeine). There are different triggers for it depending on the person, and you’ll get to know yours and how to deal with them. There are also lots of ways to try and stop an attack if you ever have one, which may be splashing cold water in your face or bearing down hard. There is also the surgery option (ablation) which is 98% effective. Hope everything worked out and good luck!
