did something so stupid 😔

I had one of those sticky "blister clovers" on my heal & it was coming off & sticking to everything so I ripped it off😳 now I'm left with this. Any ideas on how to stop it from getting infected now😔😥 so mad at myself!

Antiobiotic ointment, cover with gauze, use medical tape to tape gauze to your heel.

I'm military I get blisters there all the time. Neosporin helps and air but if you have to put shoes on out a panty liner in heel of shoe or boot n out a big bandaid or wrap blister. Panty liners def help any friction from making it worse. But def if you're home just let it air out so it will dry up n heal as you don't want it to stay moist

You need to cover it with some sort of bandage; don't put the sticky part of the bandage on the blister. Keep the area clean. You could probably wash it once a day with normal saline or a mild soap, pat dry, then cover it. In my line of work, I see people with pressure sore orders. They typically are cleaned once a day and covered to promote healing and reduce infection risk.
