So can I put a heading pad on the eye that has it I've normally been using a warm paper towel so should/ could I use a heading pad on it

A heating pad would be fine, but generally a cold compress works better.

Dry beans in a clean sock, water can be used to wet the sock and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until desired temperature is reached. Should be warm and moist heat that is tolerable to the eye area.

Heat is better, causes increased blood flow to the area and will help to discourage bacteria growth. I wouldn't use a heating pad because of risk of burning the skin, but a wet washcloth, well wrung and hot is good for a stye.
