The moment I opened the door when he picked me up for our first date. I knew he was the one immediately

We realized we loved each other at nearly the same time! It was after our second date (hella soon, I know) and I was out of town for a week to housesit for my grandmother. Long story short he travelled three hours to be with me because he missed me so much! We had coffee, went to the beach, and then had dinner. Afterwards it was about 11pm and he had to go home because he had to be at work early in the morning. I made him a cup of coffee and the only mug my grandmother had that was clean featured a smiley face with a 3D nose sticking out that said "you nose I love ya!" That's when we both realized it. Turns out my grandmother makes her husbands coffee using that mug everyday (she's remarried) ❤️ It's been nearly six months and he is the dorkiest man I've ever met! He has my heart. (This is one of my favorite pictures of us because I posed to kiss his cheek and dis boy would not stop giggling, I love him)

I knew I was in love with him when he called me to ask if I would support his decision if he decided to stay enlisted in the army and just the way he included me in the decision and saying that he wanted to make sure I'd stay in his life and how he felt I was so important to him. I started crying because I was scared of what could happen if he reinlisted but I told him I would absolutely support him reinlisting if that's what he felt he needed to do. I told him I wasn't going anywhere and that I understood it wasn't an easy decision. But I was trying so hard not to let him hear me crying and I knew in that moment I loved him because I was terrified of losing him.
