My son is 3 months old and EBF. We introduced a bottle fairly early on because I wanted to make sure his dad was able to help with night time feedings. Everyone in the house got colds so I EBF him for about 2wks straight because I heard if mom is fighting a cold then baby will get mom's antibodies & be able to fight the cold easier. Well in that time he has become accustomed to only the breast. I went to work last week for 5 hrs, he only took 2 ounces the entire time I was gone. Normally he nurses every 2hrs for 15mins, I'm assuming that's much more than 2 ounces. This week he's decided he doesn't want the bottle at all. My husband had to bring my son to my job so I can nurse him because he was going on 4hrs not eating and was crying for 2 hours straight. I've tried several different bottles, different temps of my breast milk. I've tried everything but nothing seems to work. Any advice from others who have been in this situation? I need to be able to work!
