I'm new to Glow and figured I would start by posting. I'm 33 years old, almost 34, and had my mirena removed 12/23/16. I had it since 7/2012 and had no issues other than an ovarian cyst, no periods at all.

 I've waited my whole life until I was established in my career (which took quite a bit of time) to start trying to conceive. My husband and I are very excited to start however with research I've seen it seems as though waiting for the first period after removal really varies for everyone. If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear. I want to be patient and know when the time is right we will be pregnant but I'm also comforted knowing others have been in my shoes. Thanks! 😊
