Could you take a CEO of a company seriously if his name was Alvie? That sounds like a nick name to me. Name your kid what you want but also remember you're naming his future.

I hate the whole could you take the blah blah of blah blah seriously thing. 
I don't care if you name your child something completely outrageous, that doesn't justify people judging them for a name versus their professionalism. Just because someone is given a name that you don't like or think is professional, doesn't mean their not professional and they shouldn't be taken seriously.
