ended up dr doing a inducement started at 7 am water broke 130 pm got the epidural at 2 went from 2 cm to 4 by 5 pm and was a 6 when baby boy started havin his heart rate drop during every contraction and the pitocin was turned completely off to try and help .. they think his cord was clamped or pinched .. not .. nurse called dr to come back in shift change was at 7 nurse who had been us all day leaves at 710 new nurse there when dr came in explained placing a iv or whatevrr into the uterous to essentially put fluid back in to help take pressure off the cord .. he checked and said never mind his head is coming down its time to push.. so i went from a 6 at 630 pm to fully dialated and ready to push by 720 pushed 6 minutes baby boy born at 7 26 pm a healthy 6 lb 11 oz 20 in long did hour of bonding and the second person to hold him was his big sister and then her and grandma and grandpa went home .. my 8 year old watched her brother be born ... and she cried when she got to hold him she was so happy to have him here
