Skipped period?

So, I'm 11 days late, but on the pill. Does it make you skip periods sometimes? I'm confused and slightly unneasy.

I saw you're taking microgestin- I'm on this! My periods are EXTREMELY irregular from it so just be prepared for every few months missing your period.. to months in a row. This is super common with microgestin users!!!!!

I had the same problem. One of the reasons I got on birth control was to regulate my periods but sometimes I'd miss it for 3 months at a time or some time I'd get multiple periods in one month. My doctor found me a pill with a smaller dosage and everything has been normal since

Combo pill or mini pill? Combo your period should come at the end when you take sugar pills, mini pill can make your period stop or become irregular. Either way your cycle will be different from before you took pills. If you've been on pills for a while and had a consistent period, I'd take a test!

When I was on the mini pill my first period was two weeks late and then skipped periods for 3 months. 
It gave me terrible side effects though so I ended up switching!
But yes, it's normal!
