Anyone else RH negative what does this mean!?

I am RH negative. You have to have a rhogam shot at 28 weeks. This is in case your baby has a positive blood type. You also get one at birth if your baby does have a positive blood type. You would also have to get one if you have any bleeding during pregnancy. Negative blood types can't mix with positive blood types. Basically without the shot your body would attack the baby. My doctor said women who were RH negative back in the day would typically only have 1 child if their first child had a positive blood type.
