getting pregnant shortly after having a baby?

Question

Has anyone here had or have babies close in age? I have a 6mo boy and baby fever is back and in full force 🙈 What's it like? Was pregnancy easier/harder? If you could have waited a little bit longer to have another instead of right away, would you?

Side note I am still breastfeeding so would love to know if anyone has also gotten pregnant while still BF (he still nurses quite often so I'm not even sure what my chances are to get pregnant right now if I tried)

I got pregnant with my second when my first was 7 months old, then I got pregnant with my third when my second was 4 months old! I'm actually due in like 12 days lol. It has its challenges of course. Some days are harder than others but that can happen even with larger age gaps. I love how close they are though. My husbands grandmother actually had her first three children all a year or less apart and she survived the madness lol.

I got pregnant while breastfeeding when my son was 5 months old. Currently he is 15 months old and my daughter is 4 weeks old.

I just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant yesterday and My baby is just 4 months old today.

By 4 months postpartum i was pregnant..... we hoped to be by 3 months but it took 2 cycles to get preggo...... im verrrry happy with this choice so far..... my firl turned 1 last month and i am due within 3 weeks now with her brother. I am army so i feel it was a good idea to get it over with and not have to get back it shape to pass physical standards in between of the pregnancies just for a year or so.... that way when i come back i can focus on my fitness without loosing it all again.    I also love that in a year they will play together..... and that i wil be done with diapers withing a year apart.....  i wont have to start over when the first one finishes them with a new baby. I love that i already have everything set up for a baby, we are just keeping everything out for him.... its do easy and cost friendly.  Well i know it will be lots of work for a few years but i think its worth it.

Well,  my son's are exactly 2yrs 2 weeks and 3 days apart.  And I love that they are close enough in age to be really great friends (and enemies).  Wherever one is I know his partner in crime is not far away haha.  This time,  I got pregnant when our youngest was almost 2 but he was still nursing to go down for naps and bed.  If you're ebf you can get pregnant,  but it's not very common.  If you have introduced solids it's a lot easier to get pregnant while still breastfeeding.
