Glucose test this morning? To eat or not to eat?

My glucose test is in an hour and a half.. I just woke up and I've read that going in on an entry stomach can make me sick and also make me fail. Did you guys fast and pass or did you eat something prior to the test?

Dr said to fast but if I did eat scrambled eggs were ok. I fasted and passed the 1 hr no issues

I had a bowl of cereal, my doctor said I didn't have to fast. But then the lab tech said I shouldn't have eaten because it's better chance of passing if you fast. I was worried but I ended up passing with a 92

It was recommended by my doc if I ate breakfast to eat two hours before (no less). I also read that online. I ate turkey bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, and drank water. I passed. Whether you fast or don't your results might be the same either way and you shouldn't want to skew your results. It's important to know if you have GD.

It's probably too late to eat now. After your test eat some protein. Cheese, nuts, etc if you don't feel well.

The drink didn't make me sick at all. And it wasn't overly sweet like I thought it would be. People totally hype it up but my drink was like an orange hi-c. Honestly, I thought it tasted good.

If it's the one hour test (aka the first one) u don't have to fast. The ob I used to work for actually recommends you eat. If it's the three hour test (aka you failed the 1 hour test) then you have to fast.
