Teeth?

Ok i seen a post somewhere earlier about wisdom teeth and now i have a question about them. I am 25yrs old and have never gotten my wisdom teeth. When i was 18yrs old my dentist told me that i don't have wisdom teeth. Could this be true? Both my parents had wisdom teeth and the generation before them. Why would i not have them?

It could absolutely be true! I only have one root and I had an art teacher that didn't have any as well.

Dental assistant here 👋🏽 if your dentist told you you didn't any wisdom teeth, then you don't. It's normal! You're one of the lucky ones!

They're kind of vestigial structures (like the appendix, they don't have a use anymore) so a lot of people are evolving out of them since they're no longer useful. You're lucky, you don't need to get surgery! Look at it as a blessing
