I am a FTM and my husband and I have no clue what to expect during labor and how to care for the baby when it's born. Our doctor suggested we attend birthing classes to be prepared. But, we just learnt that our insurance does not cover them, and they cost $175!! Also, there are so many to choose from (on Yelp) that we are not able to make a decision.

Anyone here attending these classes, or have attended during your previous pregnancies? Could you please suggest what kind of class we've to look out for? (In the San Diego area)
