Pre-eclampsia is more likely to happen in your first pregnancy with your first partner/pregnancy. If you change partners you may be at greater risk because it is believed that it may have something to do with the male. This means you have 2 different baby daddies not just one. Nothing you did wrong. The only solution for treatment is to get the baby out.
Swelling, dizziness,  seeing spots is all normal part of this condition.  Now that you know this we can jump into my story.
My Labia got extremely swollen because of the water retention. They grew so abnormaly big that emergency triage said to come in. They tried monitoring my blood pressure with meds but was working. Got admitted at 3 pm and was in the or for a c sections by 2 pm same day. The doctor was hoping a vaginal birth but even I wasn't confident I could after all the drugs and swollen labia. Mind you I went all natural with my first baby and had the same hope and expectations for delivery.
Now that my baby is out my bllod pressure it's more stabilized and urine is good too it was not fun but my baBy is here. :)
