Infant or convertible car seats for twins?

Twin mamas! Do you suggest getting infant car seats or convertiable ones? I'm wondering how it will be best to carry the babies. Thanks in advance!!

I got infant seats and I'm glad I did! For many reasons but one being my girl was 4 pounds 8 ounces when born and just shy of 5 pounds when she came home. The convertible car seat wouldn't be under 5 pounds for the safe range and I wouldn't have been able to take her home

I have a toddler and older child so we opted for convertible seats for our twins on the way. We do use baby carriers a lot and such so I'm thinking it will be impossible to carry two seats by myself with the diaper bag and my toddler when I'm on my own... hubby is in the military so I don't plan to lean on his help when needing to grocery shop and such since he may be working or deployed or whatever.

I bought 2 infant seats. Mainly because I'm a first time mom and don't really know anything else, but also because it fits the stroller I am getting. Another point is that the seats are for 4lbs and up. Since twins are smaller you will be able to take them home if they are under 5lbs.

I am doing the I infant seats and travel system. It was convenient with my single one so I am hoping I'll have a similar experience.

I used the infant seats so that the seats could go from car to stroller for transportation. After our girls starting walking we switched to convertibles, they still size wise would fit the infant seats but I was tired of lugging them around.
