So I am pregnant and do not know the sex of my child by choice. My family is fighting and saying some very mean things to me about it because they want to buy toys for my child. I told them I don't want their money, I want their support and help during postpartum. They are calling me selfish and saying things about my generation blah blah blah. I pushed it aside as just drama but now they are saying I'm a bad parent because I'm going to buy boy and girl clothes and toys and my child, no matter the sex, will play and wear both sexes clothing. I tried to explain that sex and gender are different but they are so traditional and close minded. I try to listen to their side of the story but I don't agree. Any way I can repair the relationship without giving up my morals?
