First cycle using clomid! Experiences?!

This is my first cycle using clomid!! What was your experience using clomid? How many cycles did you do before you got your BFP? What symptoms did you experience? Any side effects?

I also just started. Clomid day 3-7 and I'm now on day 5 but my doc prescribed 25 mg. I have to cut the pill in half. I was pretty irritated that I'm put on such a low dose. I feel like this cycle is a wash and nothing will happen but we'll see. Fertility doc said that because I ovulate, the low dose will just help boost things while keeping side effects to a minimum and keeping the chance for multiples down. As for side effects, I don't notice much. Just tired a lot and some headaches, not bad. Good luck to you 🍀

January is my 5th cycle of clomid. First three cycles I was only at 50mg. Fourth thru sixth, I'm at 150mg. I don't think I ovulated up until this cycle. Side effects: I was getting diarrhea in the beginning cycles, but I increased my water intake and made changes to my diet. It's gone now. I do get Hot Flashes though. Nothing crazy, they're pretty mild. I'm going to try Femara in March if nothing has happened for me. I heard it's a bit more expensive than Clomid.

I took two cycles of Chlomid. All I got for my trouble was a trip to the ER with multiple ruptured cyst. Try Femara. Had a higher success rate with less side effects.
