Is he interested or just nice?

So I recently connect with a guy I've been friend with for 10+ years. We've been spending a lot of time together, but he hasn't given any sign that he's interested. I've flirted and I don't even think he's noticed. He's such a nice guy. I haven't even caught him checking me out. And honestly like I'm a little confused. Usually I know right off the bat & with him I just can't tell 😩 we talk nonstop, & hang out about once a week most weeks. I'm a person that gives lots of hugs & my love language is touch, so I'm alnot always touchy. We've been doing the weekly thing for about a month, with talking pretty often before that. I'm just confused because I haven't caught any signals.
