Membrane sweep work for you?

My midwife just came over and did a membrane sweep! I had my blood show during it which she said was a good sign. Did a stretch and sweep work for you and how far along were you? I'm 39 weeks. How long after a membrane sweep did you go into labour?

Had a membrane sweep on my due date with my 2nd baby. I was already dialated to a 6 and my midwife could stretch me to a 7. That night about 10-12 hours later I woke up from the contractions and had my little girl that day. Good luck to you!

I got one at 9am yesterday and nothing's happened so far. I got cervidil induction tonight at 6pm. Fingers crossed. 39 weeks also. But I have pregnancy induced hypertension. (High BP due to pregnancy)

Had my sweep at 11am.... had my girl in my arms next morning at 7:45am.... definately got things started for me
