photographers capturing your own birth?

Any other photographers out there who have considered this idea? This photographer captured all 2 or 3 of her births like this. I'm considering trying it whenever the time comes.

Some doulas offer birth photography. So you get great birth support and pictures.

I think it would be interesting? It would depend if I can concentrate enough when the baby is born on lighting and aperture. I'm plan on bringing my nikon to the hospital for baby pictures later but I just feel the moment of birth is so intense.

And I think more of what I mean is letting people see the raw emotion of what YOU see as a woman giving birth. It's amazingly beautiful. I'd get the camera settings as ready as I could prior to pushing lol
