hospital bag??

I'm confused on what to pack for my hospital bag. What did you mamas packs? What should I bring and what should I definitely not bring??

I spent a lot of time researching many different hospital bag checklists and this one encompasses pretty much everything. Some people recommend bringing your own hospital gown if you want, and my birthing class instructor recommended bringing pillows and blankets from home because hospital pillows are extremely uncomfortable. She also recommended bringing a folder for any documents you might bring home from the hospital. I have also read that some people recommend to bring two different sizes for any clothes that you plan on using for the baby. They may fit into newborn, but if they are on the bigger side they may need 0-3 size clothing. I hope this helps!

I packed all this. Id rather be overly prepared.

Something comfy for you to wear in the hospital, nursing bra or formula, nipple cream, charger for your phone, toiletries.

For baby just a coming home outfit, extra onesie, scratch mittens, extra hat, diapers (if your hospital doesn't provide them) and a swaddler or swaddling blanket.

You really don't need all that you think you do. I bring less and less every time lol

Chapstick!!!!!! I can't stress it enough. I thought ppl were ridiculous when they told me that but oh man! I already have it packed and a back up just in case. 😂
