help, should we try a first response test instead of these dollar store tests?

We've spent more than $100's of dollars on hpt and decided this month to get $1 tests and a vvvvfl keeps coming up. Is it really positive???? It was like this yesterday maybe even a tad bit lighter. Either 1 week to af or according to Glow I start Wednesday.

For some reason I've always had the best luck with the cheap tests. $1 from dollar stores and even the .88 cent ones from Walmart. And it would be better on the wallet if you get like me and get impatient and test the often lol. Sending baby dust

I know it's tempting to test again right away, but you may be better off just waiting until you miss your period. That's when you'll get the most accurate reading. It's only a few days away. But for the record, that looks positive.

My doctor recommends I use the cheap test because that's what they use at the office.... So chances are your pregnant.... That's a lot of test with the vvvfl .... Congrats that's so exciting

I whole heartedly believe $1 tests. These are all my $1 tests 1-3 days after missed period! 
^day after missed AF (taken in afternoon)

^2 days after missed AF (FMU)
3 days after missed AF (blood test later confirmed same day I was pregnant)

That looks pretty promising to me!  I think you should go ahead and get a frer and see if you can get something darker!  Best of luck!!!

My husband and I aren't convinced he even suggested him peeing on one to see if a line would show up. Lol So we went out to buy first response tests.
