Husband and I had gotten married through the courthouse so we didn't have a fancy wedding. We literally bought our wedding ring/band for less than $40. Felt like we didn't need anything fancy or overpriced.

Well there's days that I take off my ring because I'm doing house chores like washing dishes and then I forget to put it back on for a couple of days (same with my husband). I've noticed that if we go out with friends they always ask "where's your rings??" Like if not wearing our ring means our marriage is doomed.

Is it really that big of a deal to not wear it?? I don't get upset when my husband doesn't wear it, and neither does he but that doesn't mean that we are trying to say we are available.
