Mothers milk tea , too soon ?

Hey girls , so with my first my milk didn't fully come in till like the second day & this time I want to fully breast feel but I'd like to produce right away..... I'm 35+5 is it too soon to start/safe to drink

I'd check with your ob, but usually you don't start drinking those til after birth- and is normal for your milk to take a few days.

The baby doesn't need milk until it actually comes in. Whether that be two days or five days. The colostrum is all they need at first. The baby will signal your body to make what it needs. If you interfere that is not going to do you or the baby any good. And there is no need to supplement with formula in the beginning either if you want to exclusively breastfeed.

It is normal for breast milk not.to.come in till 3rd or even 4th day. You produce colostrum before and though it is a small amount, it is extremely beneficial and is only what a newborn needs for the first 2 or 3 days. There's nothing to worry about. Milk coming in on the second day is actually pretty early.

I wouldn't start drinking it yet. I'd wait until your cervix's been checked and your starting to dialate.
