How to avoid early labour???

I'm 36+5 and I've tested positive for group B strep. I heard this can bring on early labour.

As much as my body is hurting and I am fed up with feeling like rubbish and not being able to get comfy, I could do with another couple of weeks before the baby makes their appearance!!

At this stage, most women are asking for tips to bring on labour but does anyone have any tips for preventing early labour??

Yeah hydration and sleeping and doing what normally relaxes you. Reading and light exercise are perfect for me. Think a stroll not a power walk;) window shopping!

Rest, stay hydrated. Don't do too much wearing, exercise, cleaning etc just take it really easy.

Most I can say is stay hydrated and try to rest as much as possible. Try to avoid infections by not using soaps down there and wearing cotton underwear with loose pants, since it's infection that can cause preterm labor, not strepB directly. I have strep b too, and I've been getting infections (urine and vaginal) and I'm 36 weeks today. I think in the end though baby will come when baby comes. Best of luck!
