Hospital Bag and Carrier in the car?

So how many weeks is everyone getting there hospital bag together and going to have the carrier in the car and ready to go??

Do NOT put your car seat and base in the car until you need it! If you are in even an minor accident the car seat and base need to be replaced.

You can never pack your bad soon enough bit don't install the carseat til your at the hospital. If you have a minor crash, the seat is no longer any good. Even a simple rear end crash.

Mine is already done at 29 weeks 😂😂🙈! You can never be too prepared ladies! 
I wanted everything organised and ready in the unlikely event that I go early 👍 
We won't put the car seat in until baby arrives for the same reason many other mums mentioned - if you're in a collision that car seat and base has to be discarded!

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow I had my baby bag done a few days ago and putting together my  hospital bag here and there.  And I'll put the carseat in when we are headed out

I went into labor at 36 weeks and 5 days, a Friday... was planning to pack hospital bag that weekend! Luckily we had baby outfits washed and there was enough time to pack a bag and grab the car seat/base. My hubby and his dad installed the car seat and base while we were at the hospital after LO was born. I'd say pack the bag at or before 36 weeks and we were fine to not install the seat until we were at the hospital!

If pregnancy is going well and uncomplicated I wouldn't start packing your bag or babies until you reach 36 weeks...

As for car seat I would have hubby practice putting it in and such but not put it in for good until your ready for baby to come home.

I'll pack the bag before we leave for the hospital or if I have an induction date the day or two before. Car seat goes in when I'm in the hospital the day before or the day of baby coming home.

I'm getting my bag together the beginning of April (im due 4/21) and my husband will install the car seat the day after birth. We live 5 minutes from the hospital , so he's going to go get it while family is visiting in the hospital.
