Low amniotic fluid?

Im very worried and I've never experienced this before. Im almost 35 weeks and baby has low amniotic fluid.. And we really dont know why.. So now im having weekly ultrasounds and 2 NSTs a week.. Im just nervous.. Any one else been thru this?

I have had low amniotic fluid my whole pregnancy - they spotted it at my 20 week anatomy scan. Kind of stressful, but as long as they are monitoring it, you are fine. I've had ultrasound sounds every week since week 25 to measure the fluid pockets and baby's growth. Around week 34 you start losing amniotic fluid too, so that may be the reason. You're far enough along, that if they have to deliver early, baby will be okay. Lungs are getting more and more developed everyday. I wouldn't worry too much - as long as they are monitoring - which it sounds like they are. Keep positive, baby will be here before you know it. You and baby are in my thoughts! 💙
