going home outfit for baby boy?

Hello mommies! I am in search of a going home outfit for baby boy and wondering if there's a certain type of outfit that is more comfortable/better since he will be circumcised and heard that wearing pants might be uncomfortable for him? What are you guys planning to bring?

We got ours this. It's a onesie so if he is uncomfortable in pants he can just wear onesie. But our doctor says he will be fine in pants after circumcision.

We did this one for our daughter this time! It has the mitten closure and the foot closure! It's usually still pretty cold here in Illinois in March.
My son was born in April and we did an outfit similar (not personalized though!) that had a matching hat and it was perfect! He will be fine in pants because you also need him safe in the car seat! The diaper usually protects the circumsicion plus our hospital put a little gauze in his diaper too! You just want something comfy, warm and cute! My DS even had a diaper blowout before he got home so he literally only lasted in the outfit for the car ride! I wanted to get something that baby girl would use again!

We didn't need to use special clothes for his circumcision but my son had the plastic ring thing so maybe different procedures heal differently.

Just no gown type outfit. You need to remember the car seat straps need to go between the legs. Our babies were not circumcised until they were a month old. We don't have the choice of doing it at birth.
