Any 8 month olds still not holding their bottle!?

My daughter will be 8 months on the 21st and she will not hold her bottle! She can pick it up and put it in, but usually wants no parts of holding it. Is anyone in the same boat? I love that I still can give her the bottle at bed in her glider because she never wants to snuggle or sleep on me anymore. Just wondering if she should be holding it by now?

My little guy just started holding his bottle but he will still let me snuggles and feed him sometimes which is nice

My son will be 8 months on the 19 and he is not holding his either. My husband tried to get him to when he was around 4 months and I told him to just let him be a baby 😂 (which that gets thrown in my face constantly since he isn't holding it yet).
But thank you, you made me feel better that other babies aren't holding their own bottle either. I too enjoy snuggling him during feeding time because he is definitely growing too fast.

Same here...my 8 month old can but won't....it doesn't bother me though because it's the only time I have ti snuggle with him where he actually sits still for 15 minutes lol.

My son never held his own bottle. He could but never wanted to. I loved giving him his bottle so it never bothered me. My daughter is 7 months and has been holding her own bottle for awhile. I still hold her while she drinks her bottle but she likes to hold the bottle herself.

My 8 month old won't hold hers either 😞 she can though. I have watched her put it in and take it out of her mouth, but she will not hold it entirely by herself..

My little one is 7.5 months old. My fil has tried to teach him to hold it when they keep our baby 1-2 days a week while I'm at work. He isn't really interested in it. When he's done eating, he's thinks it's fun to play with, sticking it in and out of his mouth. That's as close as it gets to him holding his own bottle.

My 8 month old can't hold her bottle either. She probably could learn if she decided she wanted to, but she doesn't even try. I don't care, it's not a big deal to me at all. She's busy learning a lot of other stuff right now.
